28 Ekim Perşembe günü saat 19:30’da Kapadokya Üniversitesi Youtube kanalından canlı olarak yayımlanacak projenin ilk programına, dünyaca ünlü düşünür ve Rice Üniversitesi Tarih Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi Profesör Ussama Makdisi konuk oluyor. Moderatörlüğünü Kuzey Caroline Üniversitesi Tarih Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi Profesör Cemil Aydın'ın yapacağı programda, Prof. Makdisi ile “İnsanlık ve gezegenimizin geleceği için öngörüler ve daha iyi bir gelecek için ne yapılmalıdır?” konusu masaya yatırılacak.
Cappadocia University hosts an international and interdisciplinary project on the future of humanity and our planet titled "Imagining a Common Horizon for Humanity and The Planet". The project will convene intellectuals and thinkers from across the arts and sciences to consider one of the most fundamental issues of contemporary philosophy: How can we build a common horizon for the future of the humanity and the planet?
Ussama Makdisi, a worldwide distinguished philosopher and a Professor of History in Rice University, will be the guest for the next program in Youtube channel of Cappadocia University, on 28th October at 07:30 p.m. (Turkish local time). Professor Cemil Aydın of History Department in the University of North Caroline will the moderator and "Foresight for the future of humanity and our planet as well as what should be done for a better future" will be discussed in the program.
